On a wonderful trip to Nantucket, I came across this man sitting on a bench in the sun. I loved the composition and pretty much black and white palette. He gave me permission to take his picture as research for my paintings. I enjoyed doing the painting, and wish I’d gotten his name. I would like to share. I hope he would feel that I’d done him justice.
